The Uttar Pradesh Beach Throwball Association (BTBA-UP) is a state-level sports organization dedicated to the promotion, development, and expansion of Beach Throwball throughout Uttar Pradesh. Established with the vision of introducing and popularizing this exciting, energetic, and inclusive beach sport among the youth, the Association operates under the guidance and affiliation of the Beach Throwball Federation of India (BTFI).
The objective of BTBA-UP is to foster a robust sports culture across the state by encouraging participation from schools, colleges, universities, clubs, and local communities. The Association actively works towards identifying and nurturing talented players at the grassroots level while simultaneously providing them with opportunities to compete on district, state, national, and international platforms.
Through tournaments, coaching camps, awareness programs, and developmental activities, the Association strives to strengthen the foundation of Beach Throwball and inspire a new generation of athletes.
BTBA-UP strongly promotes participation of women and rural youth, ensuring equal opportunities for all aspiring athletes regardless of background or region.
The Association promotes technical education, skill development, ethical sporting practices, and professional growth for players, coaches, referees, and administrators.
With its unwavering commitment to transparency, professionalism, and fair play, the Association adheres to the rules, ethics, and standards established by the national federation. It consistently works toward organizing district, state, and inter-state championships, while also collaborating on the development of affiliated district units across Uttar Pradesh.
BTBA-UP collaborates with educational institutions, sports departments, and various organizations to promote Beach Throwball and develop sports infrastructure and training facilities throughout the state. Through strategic planning, grassroots development, and expansion programs, the Association strives to establish Uttar Pradesh as one of the leading states in India in the field of Beach Throwball.
Madan Mohan Yadav is widely recognized in Uttar Pradesh as the founder and pioneer of Beach Throwball. He is renowned for his visionary leadership capabilities and his dedicated efforts toward the modernization, promotion, and expansion of Throwball through various innovative initiatives related to the sport.
Driven by a deep passion for sports development and youth empowerment, he has played a pivotal role in introducing Beach Throwball as a novel and dynamic sporting format within the state.
Under his leadership and guidance, Beach Throwball has gradually emerged as a rising sport among the youth and sports enthusiasts alike. He has worked consistently to foster grassroots participation and generate awareness about the sport across various districts of Uttar Pradesh.
His vision is to establish Beach Throwball as a professionally organized and officially recognized sport by developing structured championships, leagues, training systems, and expanding the sport across districts, states, and national platforms.
